“This art project seems to be one of the most personal and surrealistic for me. The concept for it came out of a dream. Insomnia is a project about reality and dream, about the connections between people, about attachments and even addictions as well. How strong is the link between real life and dream life? If we see somebody in dreams, could he or she feel it? This series is designed to be a kind of artistic, sensual study and experiment on the boarder scale of consciousness and nocturnal illusion.”

SAAS London Art Gallery will present a solo exhibition by established Russian artist and designer Masha Trotzky. The idea is to recycle aggressive propaganda campaigns into something beautiful, creative and humane.

The series “Social Madness” is dedicated to the new aesthetic and ideology dictated to us by social networks. How did Facebook and YouTube change our habits and behaviour and language? How fake materials and fake news became an obligatory part of our life? And who are they – the People of the Future? This project was created in 2019 and will be shown in London for the first time.

British and Commonwealth Women's Club of Brussels (BCWCB) will represent a solo exhibition by established artist and designer Masha Trotzky. 

“Lost in Brussels”exhibition combines art series created by Masha in recent years and touches on not only such relevant problems of humanity as Globalization & Migration, but the range of personal experiences reflected in so-called Art diaries.

The exhibition will last from 20 October - 22 November 2019.

Art Workshop "Contemporary portraits" in Republikken / Copenhagen

During the Workshop the author will not only demonstrate her artworks, but will explain and show on practice how to create contemporary portrait with simple props and artifacts of globalization (such as magazines, ribbons, packaging etc.)

The participants will have a possibility to try themselves as models and creators and receive their own Instagram portraits for memory.

You are very welcome stay for a chat, network and a Friday drink after the workshop.

Duo Masha Trotzky &Peter Bankov shows new art project in Strasbourg!

Le duo de deux artistes européens Masha Trotzky & Peter Bankov présentera une série de posters, d’objets, et de photographies sur les symboles contemporains (la guerre et la paix, l’amour, la propagande et l’argent, les religions et les réseaux sociaux).

Les logos et signes réunis rappellent un «Constructeur». Mais ce «Constructeur» n’est pas fait pour les enfants, il est basé sur certains des symboles préférés des sociétés contemporaines ; la liberté et le totalitarisme, la foi et le combat, l’obsession massive et la protestation individuelle. Les adultes sont invités à jouer.

The life performance will take place at the opening party, each guest will be able to take part in an artistic experiment and receive his Instagram portrait.
The exhibition will last two weeks, from 9th to 24th October, 2015
